Conversion

Conversions can deliver major savings in both time and cost compared to a new build and required fewer inputs. Our engineering and project execution expertise allow us to carry out conversions of all types of vessels. Over the years, we have completed projects including barge conversions, split hopper dredger conversion to fall pipe vessel, spreader pontoon conversions, conversion of vessels into pipe laying & cable laying vessels and accommodation barges.

Dry docking

Our dry-docking facilities in Dubai Maritime City & Al Jadaf allow us to cater to all maintenance and repair needs for all types of vessels. The Dubai Maritime City facility is equipped with 2 ship lifts rated up to 6000T and can take vessels up to 130m length, 35m beam. Our full-fledged ship repair yard includes mechanical, fabrication, heavy machining, electrical, blasting and painting workshops to support our activities in dry dock. Our yard activities and standards are acknowledged by all classification societies - APT Global is GL certified.

Ship Repair Insurance

All work undertaken by APT Global is insured under the ship repair liability policy valued at up to US$ 15 Million.

Afloat maintenance

We provide quick turnaround repairs to vessels calling at any UAE port or anchorage. From our facilities throughout the region, we perform a wide range of repairs on hull, piping, all main & auxiliary engine makes, shafts, propellers and propulsion units, rudders, pumps, anchor & anchor chain renewals and tank cleaning and painting works. Our mobile service crew consists of skilled mechanics, steel workers, pipe fitters, electricians and Air Conditioning specialists, all dedicated to provide first class service to the marine industry with on time quality repairs. We fabricate steel structures with class certified welders at our GL approved yards and offer complete installation on board of vessels at port. APT Global provides riding crews with CDC/ seaman's book to board vessels around the globe.
