The Cutter Suction Dredger CSD500 is one of the standard dredgers within the range of well-proven high quality cutter suction dredgers. It has been designed for a max dredging depth of 15 m and has a max mixture capacity of 760 ltr/min. The fully dismountable dredger has a total installed power of 1.299 kW to ensure that all functions can be operated simultaneously. The winches, spuds and cutter are hydraulically driven.

The main spud carrier for the Cutter Suction Dredger 900 Cassiopeia V was manufactured by Apt Global for Vosta LMG. The spud carrier is a critical component of the dredger, as it allows the vessel to be positioned accurately over the dredging area. The carrier is made of high-strength steel and is designed to withstand the harsh marine environment. It is also equipped with a hydraulic system that allows the spuds to be extended and retracted as needed.
