APT Global Marine has successfully completed the conversion of a flat top barge into a rock transfer barge for operations in Palm Island, Dubai for Van Oord, Contractors, Netherlands.
The conversion works involved the construction and installation of a 100T capacity ramp, A-frames, accommodation/operation module, 4 points mooring system and all hydraulic/electrical safety systems. The project was completed in a time frame of 60 days.
