APT Global’s certified facility reflects a strong commitment to sustainability and responsible industrial practices within the maritime sector.
Through our Green Ship Recycling division, we have moved away from traditional dismantling practices that expose coastlines to hazardous materials. Instead, our advanced dry-dock facilities are designed to fully contain dismantling processes, preventing toxins from entering waterways and ensuring the safety of both the environment and our workforce.
All vessels are dismantled and recycled in compliance with EU regulations, national legislation, and international conventions including Basel, IMO, and ILO standards. We responsibly acquire end-of-life ships and process them within regulated frameworks.
Additionally, we collaborate with authorized and licensed partners across the globe for the recycling of metals and the safe handling of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
As the global energy landscape rapidly evolves, APT Global remains aligned with international efforts to transition toward clean energy. The UAE continues to lead regional sustainability initiatives, and in support of this vision, we have partnered with a well-established European company to introduce hydrogen-fueled generators.
By transitioning from conventional diesel generators to hydrogen-powered systems, APT Global is taking a significant step toward reducing carbon emissions and advancing sustainable industrial solutions. This initiative represents the first implementation of hydrogen-based power generation of its kind in the UAE, reinforcing our position as a leader in green innovation within the Middle East.
